The NHL is the most popular of the five major North American sports leagues here in the Canada. The seven Canadian NHL teams represent by far the highest percentage of Canadian content among these top professional leagues, and rightfully so considering hockey is a sport that is ingrained in the culture of Canadians. This need to follow the NHL translates to a great deal of NHL bets being placed in the country.
It’s the desire to bet on an NHL game that is often the trigger that pushes Canadians to open an online betting account. For this reason I wanted to create this page to give you a quick and easy step by step guide to getting your first NHL bets placed at a safe and reputable online betting site.
