The 2024-25 NFL season is just around the corner and I’ve decided to run a Survivor Pool contest for the first time in five years for this years NFL season.
The contest will have the classic survivor pool rules with a prize pool of $200 winner-take-all. And it’s completely free to enter.
Basically you pick a team to win their game each week throughout the NFL season. If your team wins then you survive to the next week, but if they lose you are eliminated from the contest. The wrinkle is that you cannot pick the same team more than once throughout the season.
***This contest is only open to Canadian residents.

As mentioned above this will be a simple winner-take-all contest.
- 1st place – $200 prepaid MasterCard gift card
**I’m keeping the prize pool fairly small for this contest because I haven’t run any contests in several years. If things go well the prize pools may increase for future potential contests such as March Madness, and playoff brackets.
How It Works
- You pick a winner each week in the NFL season (straight up, not against the spread).
- If your pick wins you survive to the next week, if your pick loses you are eliminated.
- You can only pick each team once throughout the season.
- The last entry remaining is the winner.
How To Join
The contest is free to enter. I only ask that you like/follow the Sports Betting Canadian Facebook page and join our mailing list.

We’re using Office Pool Junkie for the pool. We’ve used it for several contests in the past with no issues. It’s easy to join, you only need to enter your name and email to create an account.
**You must enter an active email address at Office Pool Junkie because this is the email I will use to contact you if you win. I will also add you to our mailing list to keep you update on Survivor Pool progress and future contests, etc. By joining the pool you agree to opt-in to our email list.
