It’s game day! The Divisional Finals are complete and the the 2024 Grey Cup is set for this evening (Sunday, November 17th) at BC Place in Vancouver. The Toronto Argonauts and Winnipeg Blue Bombers were each able to build early leads and hold onto them in the second halves to win their respective Division Finals.
The Blue Bombers will be competing in their fifth consecutive Grey Cup. They won the 107th and 108th Grey Cups, but lost in the last two Grey Cups to the Argos and Alouettes, respectively. The Bombers finished atop the West Division this season with a 11-7 record, after starting the season 2-6. The Toronto Argonauts won three of their final four regular season games, and continued their hot streak into the playoffs defeating the Ottawa Redblacks 58-38 in the East Semi-Finals and defeating the league leading Montreal Alouettes 30-28 in the East Division Finals.
