The Flames scored an empty net goal in the last couple minutes of their game against the Sharks last night, which took our Under 5 bet on that game from a win to a push. That’ll happen though, so moving on with a couple plays tonight.

New York Rangers @ Toronto Maple Leafs

The Leafs did finally get in the win column on Saturday night, but let’s not read too far into that. It was a win at home over the lowly Edmonton Oilers. Things will once again be much more difficult tonight as the Rangers come to town. Talbot is in goal for the Rangers, but I’m still not a believer in the Leafs offense with this new system just yet. I like the Rangers to win this one.

Anaheim Ducks @ Florida Panthers

Ilya Brzygalov is getting the nod in net tonight for the Ducks and I think it’s safe to say that his best days are behind him. Bryzgalov has a 1-3-1 record this year with a 3.95 GAA and .859 save percentage. I expect the Panthers to be able to put pressure on the Ducks and get the puck past Bryzgalov a few times tonight. That said, the high powered offense of the Ducks might just be able to keep up. The Ducks have shown they can turn it on and win close high scoring games this season. I like the over in this one.
