England vs Panama

England should be able to put another 3 points on the board in this match and book their ticket into the round of 16. Panama is probably the weakest team in the World Cup and England shouldn’t be able to screw this up. They should keep a clean sheet in this one and add 1 or 2 to get the win.

Japan vs Senegal

Senegal looked really dangerous in their opening win over Poland. They were the better team in that match and their pace was too much for Poland. I think they will be able to have similar success against this Japanese team that really lucked out with the Colombia hand ball red card that lead to a goal and Colombia playing with 10 men from just a few minutes in. Even after that red card Colombia was able to tie the game and it took a late goal by Japan to get the 3 points that should have been a given after that early play.

Poland vs Colombia

This is basically the same breakdown as above. Poland was outplayed by Senegal, while Colombia had difficult luck with their loss to Japan. I still believe Colombia is a solid team in this tournament, while the same cannot be said for the Poland side. I expect Colombia to find a way past the Polish defense for a couple goals and to give themselves a chance to put that red card from match 1 behind them.
