The USA Triple Crown races are all in the books and it’s now time for the first big Canadian horse race of the season. The North America Cup is set to take place this Saturday at Mohawk Racetrack in Campbellville, Ontario. The $1 million race is the most prestigious race in Canada for three-year-old pacers and the big prize pool brings in some great horses.
A horse aptly named ‘Betting Line’ is the favourite heading into the race with morning line odds of 5/2 after posting a time of 1:49.1. There are 10 horses set to run in this race on Saturday.
The race is set to take place at 6:30pm this Saturday and will be shown on TSN.

I’ve posted the morning line odds for the North America Cup below. It’s important to understand that these odds will change throughout the day on Saturday depending on how much money comes in on each horse. This is standard in horse racing and you can read more about it on our parimutuel betting information page.
- Betting Line 5/2
- Boston Red Rocks 3/1
- Lyons Snyder 4/1
- Big Top Hanover 6/1
- Control The Moment 8/1
- Racing Hill 10/1
- Michaels Victory 12/1
- Manhattan Beach 15/1
- Magnum J 15/1
- Beast Mode 20/1
Betting Line is the betting favourite, but Boston Red Rocks and Lyons Snyder also have fairly short odds and are being looked at as threats to win this Saturday.

Select the ‘Harness’ drop down menu and select ‘Mohawk’. This will bring up all of the races for the day at Mohawk Racetrack. Select the number of the race that has the post time of 6:30pm. This is the North America Cup.
Here’s a screenshot of what the SIA racebook will look like (this is from a random race when I was writing this article):
